Dr. Alverez was born in Mayagüez Puerto Rico, where he grew up and completed his studies, including medical school at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. He then moved to Texas, where he completed his Internal Medicine residency, Cardiology fellowship and Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center. Dr. Alvarez moved to Florida in 1994. For many years he worked at Orlando Health as part of their Cardiology Department and served as Vice Chief of the Cardiology Department for a few years as well as being member of the Board of Directors of the same hospital. Dr. Alvarez is board-certified and has been part of various publications in recognized journals. Dr. Alvarez joined Dr. Jimenez over five years ago. He brings his expertise in cardiovascular electrophysiology and clinical experience.
