Maria is a nurse practitioner with many years of experience in the field of cardiology. Maria was born in Puerto Rico where she completed her Bachelor of Science (BS) in nursing. She worked many years as a registered nurse mostly in the cardiovascular units. She moved to Kissimmee in 1996 and has worked at HCA Florida Osceola Hospital, initially as a charge nurse in the noninvasive cardiac department, and now as part of the Cardiovascular team.  She completed her Master’s degree as a nurse practitioner in 2013 and has been providing advanced care for cardiology patients since. Maria brings her vast clinical experience and is a true patient advocate.
